Introduction.

Well...here it goes.  This is my first post on my new blog.  I do have another blog called "A Dream in Sound" where I post mainly about music-related items.  Unfortunately, I have been rather lacksadasical about adding posts.  I think that updating this blog regularly will help me gain motivation to update the other blog regularly.  So, check out that blog as well if you feel inclined.  I will put a link to it on this blog.  I'm super-excited about this class!  I think it will help me get on the road to becoming a better writer.  Being a busy adult student with a full-time job and a band, it will be a challenge to blog every day.  I think I am up for the challenge!  The title of this blog comes from a song by one of my favorite bands of all time, The Olivia Tremor Control.  Maybe you've heard of them?  They were one of the frontrunners in the Elephant Six, new-psychedelic movement back in the mid-1990's, along with Neutral Milk Hotel, Apples in Stereo.  Sadly, they are no longer a band, but they still play out in other configurations (Sunshine Fix, The Instruments, Dark Meat, etc.).
